Location
We are located on the city fringe overlooking the glorious Fitzroy Gardens at the Albert Street Medical Centre in East Melbourne. The Albert Street Medical Centre is located at the corner of Albert and Landsdowne Streets, approximately one block from Freemason's maternity hospital, St Vincents and Mercy Private Hospital and Peter MacCallum Hospital.
Parking
Easy 2 hour metered parking is available around the Fitzroy gardens and plenty of 1 hour parking is also available on Albert Street and adjacent streets. Longer term parking is available within walking distance on Victoria Parade, Wilson's Parking and Tribeca Parking on Albert Street.

Appointments/Cancellations
All consultations are available by appointment only. Appointments are confirmed 24 hours ahead of the scheduled time.
In fairness to our practitioners and patients, Fertile Ground Health Group enforces a 24 hour cancellation policy. Where appointments are cancelled, missed or changed without 24 hours notice, a 50% cancellation fee will be applied.
Confirmation of an appointment is acknowledgement of this cancellation policy. A 24 hour period allows us to rebook this time for another patient who may be on our waiting list for an appointment.
Arrival Time
For you to enjoy the full value of your consultation we encourage you to plan your time carefully and arrive ahead of your scheduled appointment time. In consideration of all our patients, all appointments will conclude at the scheduled time.
Payment
Cash, Cheque, EFTPOS and major credit cards accepted. HICAPS Australia is also available for participating health funds.
Mail Order and Courier Service
For a small fee we are able to offer you the convenience of a courier service. Please call reception before 10am any week day to organise same day delivery of your prescription within the Melbourne Metro region. Country or interstate mail orders are sent through Australia Post as regular or express post according to your requirements.
Opening Hours
Reception is available 9am till 5pm Monday to Friday and 9am to 4pm on Saturday. All practitioner services are available with extended hours and are by appointment only.
Private Health Cover
Our Practitioners are accredited with health fund provider numbers. Private Health Cover rebates apply for most services and HICAPS is available. Call your insurance company to clarify your level of health cover and which of our services you can claim.
The Studio at Fertile Ground Health Group
The Studio at Fertile Ground Health Group is available for casual, short and long term rental. Overlooking the Fitzroy gardens with an abundance of natural light, this area consists of three rooms - a large Teaching Space suitable for groups, courses and classes, a practitioner Consultation Room and a small Meeting Room suitable for Counselling. All rooms are airconditioned / heated and share a spacious and relaxing waiting area.
Fertile Ground Health Group offers a range of advertising options for tenants of The Studio. Advertising space is available on our website and in our seasonal newsletter.
The Teaching Space
A beautiful space with views over the treetops of the Fitzroy Gardens, this 25 square meter room holds up to 30 people and is fully fitted with kitchenette, seating, projector, DVD/CD and cushions.
Consultation Room
With views over the Fitzroy Gardens, this light-filled, fully furnished consulting room is perfect for your treatment needs. The space is approx 4 x 4 meters and contains desk, chairs, adjustable examination/massage table and sink.
Meeting Room
A small and comfortable space of 2.5 x 4 meters, this area consists of three chairs, nest of tables, jug and filtered water and is ideal for counselling and meetings. The Meeting Room has an opening window and plenty of natural light with views over the Fitzroy Gardens.
