Fertile Ground Health Group is a busy Natural Medicine practice specialising in fertility, pregnancy, women’s and children’s health. We provide in-clinic therapeutic massage services as well as home and private hospital visit services around Melbourne, with a special emphasis on pregnancy and post-natal massage. Our other clinical services include Naturopathy, Acupuncture, Osteopathy and Counselling.
We are looking for an experienced, motivated and enthusiastic Remedial Massage Practitioner to fill a position within our busy and dynamic clinic team.
You must be:
- A fully qualified Remedial Massage Therapist
- Registered with Private Health Funds for rebates (provider numbers essential)
- Accredited by a recognised professional massage association
- Hold current professional indemnity and public liability insurance ($5M minimum)
- Registered with an ABN
- Able to work independently, and build your client base
- Interested in working with pregnant and post-natal women and their families
- Committed to building your practice in a supportive setting
- Committed to self-promotion and participating in clinic promotional activities
- Be available to start early June 2012
- Be available for a minimum of two clinic sessions per week, including alternate Saturdays
Fertile Ground Health Group has a large and loyal patient base as well as a strong referral system both within the clinic and with other practitioners, doctors and obstetricians. Our team of experienced practitioners work together closely to provide the best outcomes for our patients. Each modality has regular meetings to share ideas and develop their practice as well as provide peer support for each other. Your energy and commitment to the position will ensure your success in this role.
Experience in pregnancy massage preferred but not essential as full training will be provided for the right candidate. The successful applicant will have a passion for working with pregnant and post-natal patients.

Fertile Ground Health Group has an opening for an Osteopath to join our highly experienced and specialised team. Our ideal candidate is experienced in assessing and treating a range of health issues with a special interest in pregnancy care, post natal recovery, babies and children. Experience and post graduate qualification in cranio-sacral therapy is essential.
The position will be a minimum of 2 sessions per week with a view to expand as your practice grows (which will be quickly for the right person). Full reception, computerised booking system, compactus lateral filing system and most shared resources provided. Existing Osteopathy client base will be handed over to you by our current Osteopath. So this is a great opportunity to begin a practice with an already established client base.
