Tania studied at the Australian School of Therapeutic Massage where she received her Certificate of Massage and Diploma of Remedial Massage. She specialises in pregnancy and post-natal massage and is also a certified Infant Massage Instructor.
Tania uses a combination of Remedial, Swedish, Deep-tissue, sports, lymphatic drainage and relaxation techniques to create an overall sense of well-being.
Other specialist techniques include trigger point therapy and myofascial release.
Tania’s rhythmic massage, special care and absolute love of her work makes for a relaxing experience like no other. It’s the kind of massage that transports you to another place – allowing you to de-stress, let go of tension and come out floating.
Tania works as part of the Fertile Ground Health Group team in our East Melbourne clinic, as well as providing on ward massage at Freemason’s hospital and home visit services.
Tania is a member of Australian Association of Massage Therapists, and as a Remedial Massage Therapist, provider numbers are available for most health funds.

Ingrid has been practicing massage for over 11 years. After the birth of her first child in 1995, Ingrid realised that she wanted to work with pregnant women and mothers in some capacity. This led to her undertaking her therapeutic massage certificate at the Southern School of Natural Therapies, in 1996 and completing her Diploma of Remedial Massage at the Melbourne Institute of Massage Therapy, in 2007. She has also completed several courses specific to pre- and post-natal care , infant massage and birth support (doula). Ingrid also runs regular birth preparation workshops with Annie Fogarty (yoga teacher and childbirth educator) which focus on practical skills for labour and birth.
Ingrid’s unique skills and style have been honed by specialising in massaging pregnant women for many years. She gives a deeply nurturing and relaxing massage, with a unique sense of love in her hands and attention to detail that makes her massage truly special for anyone to enjoy.
Having two children herself has given her comprehensive understanding of the physical impact pregnancy has on the body before, during and after birth. Her massages style is tailored to suit individual needs, drawing from a wide variety of remedial and relaxation techniques, as well as input from the client. Ingrid’s intention is to support women to their full potential, and to make this important time in their lives as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.
Her massage work is inclusive of all people and not restricted to pre and post natal. She is a member
of the Australian Association of Massage Therapists as a remedial massage therapist and health rebates are available with most Health Insurance Providers.

Denise is a fully qualified, AAMT accredited Remedial Massage Therapist specialising in relaxation, deep-tissue, pre- and postnatal massage, obtaining her qualifications at the renowned Melbourne College of Natural Medicine. She is also a Certified Infant Massage Instructor.
Denise has a beautiful, gentle soul and a quiet disposition. Although Denise is qualified in Remedial Massage, she has a passion for relaxation massage and deep energetic work, with her sensitivity reflected in her treatment.
The driving force behind her passion towards health and wellbeing comes from her experience as a registered nurse. Denise has diverse range of nursing experience after having worked in cardiac, respiratory, renal, endocrine, neurology and stroke wards.
This journey has given her a wealth of experience, tapping into a diverse level of knowledge in what triggers the mind, drives the body and enriches the human spirit.
Denise is a fantastic practitioner, intuitive, thorough, caring and understanding, utilising a number of massage techniques to assess and treat soft tissue dysfunction. Her treatments are applied with all this in mind and are guided by feedback to ensure patient comfort and relaxation is a constant feature.

Rhea Dempsey is a mother of three daughters, counsellor and child birth educator with over 30 years experience. Rhea has extensive experience working with women and families before, during and after birth. Her special interest is in exploring the psychological aspects of birth and the pyscho-social factors which can affect birth outcomes.
Rhea is a highly respected and sought after presenter at conferences, seminars and workshops on birth and counselling issues. Rhea also works in private practice running an extensive schedule of classes for couples and groups as well as education and development for midwives and birth attendants.

Lisa is an accredited Infant Massage Instructor with Infant Massage Australia (IMA). She has held Executive Committee positions with IMA including the position of President. Lisa is currently completing a degree in Anthropology and Psychology. Lisa derives most inspiration from being a Mother and has massaged her daughter since she was a baby.
After discovering the gentle art of infant massage, Lisa began to massage her baby and was amazed with its benefits and rewards. It was such an overwhelming experience for Lisa that she wanted to share the benefits of Infant Massage with others.
Through the language of touch, Lisa empowers parents and caregivers to communicate with and listen to their babies in an intimate and relaxing manner. Lisa is dedicated to cultivating healthy beginnings by supporting and guiding parents and caregivers to communicate lovingly with their babies and children through the nurturing touch of Infant Massage.

Tracey Gibney

Tracey is midwife, childbirth educator, certified infant massage instructor, lactation consultant and mother of three. Tracey currently conducts infant massage sessions at both Freemason’s Maternity Hospital and Northpark Private Hospital, as well as providing a home visiting service for post natal and lactation support.
Tracey has nearly 15 years experience as a midwife and has recently completed her qualifications as a lactation consultant. In her experience the first six weeks can raise a lot of issues for new parents, and she hopes to provide families with the support they need to become confident parents. Her extensive experience is invaluable for new mothers experiencing feeding difficulties, facing fears about their parenting, learning about their new baby and learning to cope with the daily demands of motherhood.
Tracey is passionate about providing a service that promotes bonding and enriches families. As an infant massage instructor, she encourages parents to become “baby watchers”, learn the non-verbal cues their baby gives them and to respond intuitively to their baby.
Tracey is available for one-on-one or group consultations in your home or other community setting. Clinic appointments can be arranged on request.

Fiona is a qualified Naturopath and Massage therapist with 17 years of ‘hands-on’ experience. She has completed studies in a wide range of massage techniques including Swedish and Relaxation Massage (Southern School of Natural Therapies), Traditional Thai massage (Traditional Medical Hospital in Chaing Mai, Thailand), Auyevedic Massage (India) . Fiona is also a Level 2 Reiki practitioner and mother to her beautiful 2 year old daughter Lopel.
Fiona’s extensive massage skill and experience combined with her naturopathic understanding of the body, brings a truly holistic approach to her massage. Her capacity to ‘see with her hands’ enables her to locate and address areas of discomfort you may not yet be aware of.
Fiona’s unique style draws on her knowledge of Reiki, Thai, Indian and relaxation massage to provide a remedial massage experience like no other. Her main objective is to relax body and mind and to leave you feeling refreshed and pampered.
A sense of calm, honed by 20 years of meditation practice, permeates Fiona’s massages, allowing you to find the space to completely relax.
Fiona also holds a bachelor of Social Work. She is available for massage in our East Melbourne clinic (including Sundays!) as well as home and hospital visit massage.

Amanda is a registered Kinesiologist completing a diploma in Sports Kinesiology from the College of Complementary Medicine as well as a degree in Psychology from Swinburne University.
Amanda found answers to her own illness through Kinesiology many years ago. Western medicine struggled to pin point the source of her illness and the practice of Kinesiology intrigued her whilst guiding her back to health. Her interest in the link between emotions and wellbeing led her to leave her corporate career to study Kinesiology. She aspires to offer her clients the same opportunity for personal growth and spiritual healing that she has experienced herself.
Her approach to client care is focused on nurturing emotional health. She believes in addressing emotional health and spiritual well being to assist with physical complaints, stress and blocks within the body. Amanda aims to rejuvenate the spirit and provide insight into a clients life issues through each treatment. Clients can expect a personal and professional approach to understanding the issues that affect them.
Personal interests in fertility, pregnancy, post-natal care and children’s health have seen some exciting results with her clients. Through practice Amanda has experienced children to be particularly susceptible to changes through Kinesiology and thoroughly enjoys working with children of all ages.
Amanda is committed to the expansion of Kinesiology in the community and lectures and supervises at the College of Complementary Medicine in Carlton as well as attending seminars to further enrich her clinical practice.

Amy developed a passion for Chinese Medicine as a way to support and heal the body when she first experienced its positive effects ten years ago. As a result of this experience, Amy studied Chinese Medicine and graduated from RMIT University with Distinction.
Amy has accumulated unique education as a Chinese Medicine practitioner. During five years at RMIT, Amy worked under, and was mentored by, a well-respected Chinese Medicine Gynaecologist. She also participated in Australia’s first study into the use of acupuncture in an emergency department at Melbourne’s Northern Hospital.
Amy also completed an internship at Jiangsu Provincial Hospital of Chinese Medicine in Nanjing, China. Thus, her understanding of Chinese Medicine within a hospital setting, in both Australia and China, have given her a unique appreciation of the positive integration of Western and Chinese medicine. This has also provided her with experience in treating patients with complex needs.
Amy has particular interest in the field of gynaecology, pregnancy and birth: including painful and problematic menstrual cycles, male and female infertility, birth preparation, menopause and the role of acupuncture in conjunction with IVF.
Amy employs individualised treatments including acupuncture, moxa, cupping, and herbal medicine, in conjunction with diet and lifestyle advice, in order to provide the most effective outcome for each patient. She is committed to opening and maintaining the channels of communication between herself and her Western Medicine counterparts, in all aspects of her treatment.
