Biography

Nina Isabella is a holistic women’s health counsellor, childbirth educator and somatic psychotherapist. Nina’s practice is warmly inclusive, trauma informed and person-centred. This means she regards you as sovereign – the expert in your life and your unique circumstances. Nina meets you where you are with empathy; offering wholehearted connection; supported by evidence based, culturally sensitive counselling and body-based psychotherapies of mindfulness, breathwork and therapeutic yoga.

This approach is what Nina calls – Womanly Counselling.

The seeds of Womanly Counselling were planted in 2005 when Nina founded her specialist perinatal yoga practice – mamashanti. Growing and learning with her clients, Nina has been moving and breathing with hundreds of women and gender diverse folk seeking enhanced fertility; peaceful pregnancy; positive birth; nourished postpartum; inspired parenting; healthful and vital menopause.
