Chinese Medicine & Acupuncture Practitioner – Fertility & Women’s Health Melbourne

Fertility, Reproductive Health, Women’s Health & Integrative Care
Fertile Ground Health Group | Fitzroy | Melbourne

This is a rare opportunity to build a deeply rewarding acupuncture practice

Opportunities like this do not come around often.

One of our highly regarded, long-standing acupuncturists is relocating overseas to continue her practice in Ubud, Bali. As she transitions, established session times are opening at Fertile Ground. For a practitioner ready to step into strong early momentum, this is a rare opportunity to build a full, sustainable and deeply satisfying practice within a clinic recognised for exceptional care, long-term patient relationships and clinical integrity.

Fertile Ground Health Group

For more than 24 years, Fertile Ground Health Group has been a trusted leader in integrative fertility, pregnancy and family health care in Melbourne. Our reputation has been built on depth, integrity and collaboration, supporting people through fertility journeys, IVF, pregnancy, postpartum care and complex reproductive health experiences.

Many of our patients remain with us for years, sometimes decades. They value continuity of care, thoughtful treatment and practitioners who show up with presence, skill and care.

We work collaboratively across naturopathy, acupuncture, massage, counselling and medical care, and we hold ourselves to a high clinical and ethical standard.

The role – what to expect

You will be stepping into:

  • An initial influx of patients

  • A clinic with consistent demand and strong referrals

  • The opportunity to shape your own clinical load through patient trust, outcomes and retention

Your success in this role will come from how you practise – your clinical skills, communication, consistency and ability to build long-term therapeutic relationships.

Who this opportunity is for

This role will suit a Chinese Medicine & Acupuncture Practitioner who:

  • Is AHPRA registered and clinically confident
  • Has experience in fertility, IVF, pregnancy and women’s health
  • Values long-term care and cultivating relationships rather than transactional treatment
  • Is a team player who is driven to contribute, collaborate and engage
  • Wants to build a meaningful, enduring practice within an established clinic

You are someone who takes responsibility for your practice, while valuing the support and structure of a respected clinic environment.

Clinical focus

Your work may include:

  • Fertility and preconception support
  • IVF care
  • Menstrual and hormonal health
  • Pregnancy and postpartum care
  • Nervous system regulation, stress and whole-person wellbeing

You will practise alongside a multidisciplinary team and have access to a full Chinese Herbal Medicine dispensary, supporting individualised prescriptions and integrative care.

Sessions, structure & growth potential

  • Minimum 2 days per week, with potential for up to 5 days
  • Saturdays included due to strong patient demand
  • Service agreement (commission-based) structure
  • Full reception, booking and administrative support
  • Cross-referrals with Fertile Ground colleagues
  • We provide the platform, systems and patient flow – you build the practice through excellent care and continuity.

Broader career pathways

For practitioners interested in evolving their career further, there may be opportunities to explore:

  • Education, speaking and collaborative projects
  • Deeper integrative work alongside medical specialists
  • Future sole trader or waged roles within our MECCA-based clinic, The Melbourne Apothecary, located inside MECCA Bourke Street

These pathways suit practitioners who want visibility, diversity and long-term professional growth.

Why practitioners choose Fertile Ground

  • Strong reputation and patient trust
  • High standards of care and professional respect
  • Supportive, intelligent, values-aligned team
  • Beautiful, calm clinic environment
