The duration of a therapeutic massage varies from our 30 minute Stress Head massage, to 60 minutes, to 90 minutes, depending on how long you have and the type of massage you select.
A 30-minute massage will focus on your head, scalp, neck and shoulders. It is an incredible relief for stress and tension and perfect if you only have a short time for a massage.
A 60-minute massage will give more time for your massage therapist to focus on any areas of need OR have time for a full body treatment.
A 90-minute massage will allow time for extra focus on areas of need AND a full body treatment.
Your needs will always be discussed with the massage therapists before you get on the table, and you are welcome to ask your practitioner to change focus at any time throughout your treatment.
Our online booking system does not always show availability for all 90-minute appointments. Please call us to see if we can fit you in sooner than you can see available online – 03 9419 9988.

Before your massage appointment, please visit the bathroom as required to prevent any digestive or bladder discomfort during your massage. We also recommend that you don’t drink or eat anything caffeinated to get the most relaxation benefit from your massage. If possible, avoid a heavy meal before your massage to prevent any discomfort. If you have eaten, you can ask your practitioner to spend more time with you laying on your back or side lying if it is more comfortable than lying on your stomach.
It is common to feel more relaxed, tired or thirsty after a massage, so we recommend drinking filtered water, allowing time to rest where possible and listening to your body following treatment.
Some people may also experience temporary tenderness in areas where deeper pressure was used during treatment. Gentle movement, stretching, hydration, warmth and rest may help you feel more comfortable as your body settles after your massage.
If you ever experience any effects you are concerned about, please feel free to contact our team for support or reassurance.
